Rapid heart rate

I only took one gel cap, one time, with breakfast and within 45 minutes my heart rate spiked to 157 (as per my fit bit as well as I could feel it); It came back down over an hour to within the high 90s; can anyone at the company tell me what would cause this so I can be cautious with future purchases?
