Vitamin B12 is required for proper red blood cell formation, neurological function, and DNA synthesis. Vitamin B12 functions as a cofactor for methionine synthase and L-methylmalonyl-CoA mutase. Methionine synthase catalyzes the conversion of homocysteine to methionine. Methionine is required for the formation of SAMe (S-adenosylmethionine), an important methyl donor.
Suggested Usage
Adults: Initial use for the first week, take ½ a lozenge by mouth, let dissolve slowly, then swallow. If needing more support, increase to 1 full lozenge. Take as needed. Do not take within 5 hours of bedtime as it may interfere with sleep. Use as directed by a healthcare professional.
