Suggested Usage

- Folate (1 mg as L-5-Methyltetrahydrofolate) 1.7 mcg DFE 425%
Other Ingredients: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Hypromellose (derived from cellulose) capsule, Leucine, Silicon Dioxide.
Warnings
This product is contraindicated in an individual with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients.
5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) supplementation is not recommended concurrent with methotrexate cancer therapy, as it can interfere with methotrexate's anti-neoplastic activity; however, this folate source has not been shown to interfere with the anti-inflammatory activity of methotrexate. An individual taking methotrexate for psoriasis or rheumatoid arthritis can safely take a supplement containing folate.

Help for inherited folate deficiency

This was prescribed because I have an inherited mutation (that affects 50% of the population) that results in the body being unable to access the B Vitamin Folate. This was confirmed by a blood test and a phenomenal physician. I am thrilled to anticipate no more peripheral neuropathy and joint pain and depression, and more...all caused by the mutation and remedied by the folate.

I have struggled with ADD my entire life - and a friend suggested I try this supplement to counteract a potential folic acid deficiency. MTHF was what I was lacking. I didn't realize I was void of a particular nutrient until about four hours after I took this. My focus was a lot better, and my short term recall improved almost overnight.
