St John's Wort Mood Formula from Solaray supports a healthy mood with a mix of St John's Wort, l-tyrosine, DL-phenylalanine, 5 HTP, ginkgo and velvet bean.
An herb, St John's wort contains many active substances -- such as flavonoids, anthracenes, volatile oils, catechins and sugar alcohols -- that may account for any beneficial properties. However, two chemicals in St John's wort, hypericin and hyperforin, may act on chemical messengers in the nervous system that regulate mood.
Suggested Usage
Adults: Use only as directed. Take 2 vegetarian capsules daily with a meal or glass of water.
