GLA is an essential fatty acid and a precursor of key regulating hormones called PGE1 prostaglandins. Prostaglandins play a role in conception, menstruation, pregnancy, and general healing. GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) provides gamma linolenic acid (GLA) from borage seed oil to support general health and wellbeing. 

Many dietary and lifestyle factors can seriously reduce the body’s GLA production. Linolenic acid can be found in a variety of foods. However, converting linolenic acid to GLA and to prostaglandins is difficult. Borage seed oil provides the highest yield of GLA in the botanical kingdom (more than twice the GLA of evening primrose oil). The borage seed oil is extracted by a special cold-press process, which leaves no harmful residues and is hexane-free.

Suggested Usage

1 softgel daily with a meal.

MEGA GLA 300

This was and is the only thing that works for my 20 year old daughter. 1 pill a day has made a WORLD of difference! Period! (pun intended!)
