Lutein/Zeaxanthin help promote the integrity and density of the macular pigment through antioxidant properties.
Lutein and zeaxanthin are the two major carotenoid pigments stored in the macula, the central part of the retina. They help form a protective layer that filters light, maintaining healthy photoreceptor function in the macula. Increased intake of these carotenoids is associated with increased macular concentration. Lutein and zeaxanthin support the health of the optical lens as well as the retina. The combination may target different areas in the retina to enhance total retinal health, photoreceptor health, and color vision.
Suggested Usage
1 capsule daily, with a meal.

I take this product because of a side-effect from a pharmaceutical I'd taken that left my skin with dark blotches. I believe it's helping slowly but surely my skin is coming back to normal especially down the arms. I take this along with a few other supplements that are supposed to help with allergies and skin issues.
