Its source is seawater, specifically the inland sea, the Great Salt Lake of Utah. The mineral profile of seawater is remarkably similar to blood plasma, something no manufactured mineral formula could duplicate. While Salt Lake is a sea like the oceans of the world, concentrating minerals that originate in organic matter washed down over eons, it is a still, not a churned sea. This allows natural stratification that permits extraction of water with an ideal mineral profile and low heavy metals. Ionic minerals are fully dissolved in water and carry a negative or positive valance that provides the “handle” by which the body “grabs” the mineral. LITM is concentrated to 50 times the concentration of seawater, while the sodium content is reduced by 99.5%, making it appropriate for individuals on a sodium restricted diet. One teaspoon of LITM has the mineral content (except for sodium) of one cup of seawater.
Suggested Usage
Adults: Use 1 to 2 drops for every 10 pounds of body weight, mixed in juice or water. If loose bowel occurs, cut dosage in half. Add as needed or as directed by your healthcare professional.
Do not take it in a concentration that is unpalatable. Individuals who are relatively insensitive to the taste of LITM may be in greater need of trace minerals.

Very high doses of LITM may cause loose stool.
