Supports Estrogen Metabolism

This formula may support estrogen formation and normal cellular functions in the body. Indole-3-Carbinol, a compound derived from the breakdown of glucobrassicin, a glucosinolate commonly found in broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and kale, is thought to offer immune support to reproductive cells such as DNA and the metabolic process. The body uses a number of different metabolites, and many of them are derived from breaking down estrogen. DIM, which is derived from botanicals, is similar to Indole-3-Carbinol, and is shown to bind with proteins in the blood. After binding, the resulting compound has the potential to interact with receptors in the brain, muscles, and fat cells that may maintain healthy estrogen levels already in a normal range.

Indole-3-Carbinol and DIM seek to support a healthy immune response to environmental and chemical challenges in addition to normal metabolic functions.

  • Contains compounds found in cruciferous vegetables
  • May offer immune support to reproductive cells
  • Thought to support normal interactions between receptors and proteins

I-3-C DIM Review

by Pamela -

Have been taking this on a daily basis on the recommendation of my homeopath for the past couple of years. It has really helped with various hormonal symptoms. I have had no side effects. I am so happy to have found a natural supplement to use instead of medications which often have associated side affects.
