Echinacea Plus combines a well-researched botanical pair and several vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients into a comprehensive formula for immune support. Both Echinacea purpurea and Echinacea angustifolia contain polysaccharides that stimulate macrophage activation and cytokine production. Echinacea Plus also contains goldenseal, a rich source of berberine, which exerts antagonistic effects on microbial metabolism and stimulates the humoral immune response by increasing immunoglobulin production. Vitamin C, bioflavonoids, vitamin A, folic acid and zinc (with balancing copper) are included to provide complete immune support.
- Goldenseal is a rich source of berberine, an antimicrobial and intestinal disinfectant, which can stimulate the immune response by activating macrophages.
- Extracts of echinacea species contain polysaccharides and other constituents with antimicrobial and immune-stimulating properties.
- The echinacosides in Echinacea Plus are approximately six times as concentrated as unprocessed fresh herbs.
Suggested Usage
Suggested use for adults: 2-8 tablets daily, in divided doses, or as directed.

Warnings
Premenopausal women likely to become pregnant should take no more than two tablets daily due to Vitamin A content.

this is my wintertime & travel ""go to"" product

A few days before and after flying, I'll take this to minimize adverse effects from travelling among sick and germy passengers, which can ruin a vacation. Also, during cold season, I'll keep it handy.
