DHEA Cream Supports Healthy Aging
DHEA, which stands for dehydroepiandrosterone, is one of the many hormones produced by the adrenal cortex. The androgen DHEA is a precursor to testosterone as well as estrogen. Plasma levels of DHEA and its sulfated form (DHEAs) decline approximately 80% between the ages of 25 and 75 years old. In addition to decreased downstream hormone levels, low DHEA may be associated with aging, fatigue, increased cardiovascular disease, bone loss, low libido, erectile dysfunction in men, and cognitive performance.
