We purchased this product on the recommendation of our vet. Our Welsh Springer has liver issues. In addition to changing her diet to prescription food, our vet suggested trying turmeric. He recommended 50 mg per day. I was hard to find that small a dosage until we found it at Professional Supplements. In her case, I open the capsule and stir it into some yogurt every morning. So far, she is doing well.
