Cortrex provides adrenal glandular tissue and nutrients to support healthy adrenal function. It helps individuals manage stress and maintain healthy blood sugar levels and immune function.
Chronic stress overworks the adrenal glands, which can lead to problems throughout the body. Stress negatively affects the ability of the adrenal glands to produce cortisol, which is important in maintaining healthy blood sugar levels, immune function, reproductive function, and overall physical and mental stamina. The adrenal glandular tissue extracts in Cortrex, as well as other nutrients and botanicals in it, play a valuable role in supporting healthy adrenal function and normal cortisol levels, thereby helping to maintain immune function and a feeling of energy.
The whole adrenal tissue and adrenal cortex in Cortrex® help tonify the adrenals. Licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra) has a modulating effect on cortisol activity. Vitamin C, thiamine (vitamin B1), riboflavin 5'-phosphate (the active form of vitamin B2), pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (the active form of vitamin B6), and zinc are also included for their strengthening and supportive role in optimizing adrenal function. These nutrients tend to be found in high concentrations in healthy adrenal glands.
Suggested Usage
Take 1 capsule one to two times daily or as recommended by your health professional.

Did provide more energy when taken twice

I use the product for increased energy as I am going through Perimenopause. It has provided increased energy and I have not experienced any adverse side effects.

An Amazing Difference

I had pretty much depleted my adrenal glands and was fatigued, unmotivated, emotionally low, and completely devoid of the normal ""fight or flight"" response. After taking this supplement for a few weeks, I was greatly improving in all areas. I tried a herbal supplement first that did not work as well as this actual bovine adrenal replacement. My adrenal glands are now working on their own and I have decreased the amount of Cortrex that I take daily. The only side effect that I have noticed is having to be extra dilligent in removing the odor of the supplement secreted through sweat glands.

Great for stressed out body and mind

I started taking Cortrex everyday in the morning with my breakfast as my doctor's recommendation. I was diagnosed to have an inflammation on my GI system and my body was reacting with stress responses which produces cortisol and other bad stuff. Cortrex is helping my body to balance my hormone levels. The best part was when I got really stressed out with work and house hunting which affected my sleep quality I added another cortex with afternoon snack or very early dinner. This one helped me sleep much much better. What isn't so great: I can't take it after 7pm.
