Boswellia Extract is a standardized extract of Boswellia serrata, also known as frankincense, a resinous botanical that has been used for centuries by traditional Ayurvedic herbalists. The bioactive constituents of boswellia, boswellic acids, have been shown in scientific studies to affect key enzymes involved in the maintenance of healthy tissues.  Through these mechanisms, boswellia may help to support the immune system’s balanced response to the typical wear and tear of everyday life.

Recommended for knee pain

I visited a naturopath for help with knee pain after the standard western practitioner suggested I resign myself to taking anti-inflammatory tablets every day for the rest of my life. Instead this doctor recommended an herbal approach and Boswelia was part of his protocol to address the pain and inflammation in my knees. That was more than 15 years ago and since that time, I've read more mainstream information that says Boswelia may be a good way to treat pain in the knees. I feel better taking this and willow bark rather than OTC anti-inflammatory medicines.

now boswellia 500 mg.

I've been using now boswellia 500 mg. for quite some time now and feel that it's been helping with my back pain. I really like it and will keep on using it everyday.
