A multi-vitamin/mineral supplement is more important than many people realize. Basic Nutrients 2/Day is a complete multi-vitamin/mineral formula that provides an excellent nutritional foundation to supplement a healthy diet.
Per serving, it features 2,000 IU of vitamin D3 and 400 mcg of vitamin K (in K1 and K2 forms), plus mixed tocopherols, bioactive B vitamins, and amino acid-chelated minerals.
A good multi-vitamin/mineral supplement could be considered "dietary insurance" to be certain all essential nutrients are consumed daily. Even greater health benefits can be realized when a healthy diet is combined with a multi-vitamin/mineral supplement.

This product is contraindicated in an individual with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients. Iodine may occasionally cause an allergic reaction in some individuals.
5-methyltetrahydrofolate supplementation is not recommended concurrently with methotrexate cancer therapy, as it can interfere with methotrexate's anti-neoplastic activity; however, this folate source has not been shown to interfere with the anti-inflammatory activity of methotrexate. An individual taking methotrexate for psoriasis or rheumatoid arthritis can safely take a supplement containing folate.

I’ve tried many different vitamins on the market and did not want to jump into Thorne because of its sponsorship with UFC. Very happy with a great quality product. Not a cheap vitamin but for sure I feel great taking. I can feel the difference when I take these. I have tried almost every vitamin supplement from natural and organic to chelated minerals. I rate these higher than Garden of Life and Pure Encapsulations. Recently, I discovered my body does not absorb normal folic acid or certain forms of b vitamins due to the mthfr gene mutation. These contain the methylated versions of both that my body can covert for absorption.

My wife and I exercise regularly and after starting using Thorne Basic Nutrient we seen and felt improvements at the gym. Bottle states you should take 2 daily but we only take once daily.

Fantastic Multivitamin Supplement

This has been one of the best multivitamin supplements that I've used. Add exercising with it and you'll see huge improvements to your body within a week. Just take 2 tablets daily with food, smoothies or nutrition shakes and you'll feel it working right away! You won't feel as tired as when you weren't taking it.
