NOW® Vitamin D-3 softgels supply this key vitamin in a highly-absorbable liquid softgel form. Vitamin D is normally obtained from the diet or produced by the skin from the ultraviolet energy of the sun. However, it is not abundant in food. As more people avoid sun exposure, Vitamin D supplementation becomes even more necessary to ensure that your body receives an adequate supply.

Suggested Usage

Take 1 softgel every 2 days with a fat-containing meal, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

Pure and Simple

For those of us who live in the northern region, D3 is vital for a healthy immune system. The 5000 IU D3's are nice. The Now brand does not have the added fillers and soy that most other brands have.

Great supplement!

My husband has super low Vitamin D levels to the point where he was on a prescription at one point. Now that his levels are in a safer range, he was able to swap to this dosage. NOW brand is one we trust for quality and value. His levels continue to improve so it obviously works.
