This 10-billion CFU blend includes four extensively researched Bifidobacterium species that reside primarily in the mucosal lining near the terminus of the small intestine, as well as in the colon and the genitourinary tract. These species assist in creating a balanced intestinal environment by competing with undesirable microorganisms and producing acetic and lactic acids that help inhibit their growth.
