Suggested Usage
As a dietary supplement, 1 capsule daily, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Do not exceed recommended dose or use long-term without proper blood monitoring.

Other ingredients: Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, rice flour, silicon dioxide.
Warnings
- Vitamin D is generally well tolerated in recommended doses; doses higher than those recommended may cause toxic effects.
- Vitamin D is considered safe in pregnant and breastfeeding women when taken in recommended doses.
- Use cautiously with hyperparathyroidism (overactive parathyroid), diabetes, low blood pressure, kidney disease, liver disease, or granulomatous disorders (a type of immune disorder), or in mothers who are receiving vitamin D supplements and who are breastfeeding.
- Avoid if allergic or hypersensitive to vitamin D or any of its components or with vitamin D hypersensitivity syndromes.
- Avoid in patients with hypercalcemia (high blood calcium levels).

Raising Vitamin D Blood Levels

My primary care physician checked my blood level of Vitamin D about two years ago. My reading was 2! Yes, 2. The normal range begins at 32, and optimal blood level is really over 50. I take 2000 IU of this product both with breakfast and with dinner, every day in the week. The total dosage is 4000 IU per day. Now, my level is 54, as of the most recent blood test in 3/2011.
