Pycnogenol® is a natural plant product made from the bark of the European coastal pine, Pinus maritima. PYCNOGENOL contains 65% procyanidins, a special class of water-soluble antioxidant flavonoids which are excellent free radical scavengers. Proanthocyanidins are believed to play an important in maintaining good health.

Suggested Usage

1 tablet 1 to 3 times daily. To build reserves rapidly, start with 1 tablet three times daily, for 7 to 10 days. Decrease use to 1 tablet once daily, as desired.

    Great for keeping muscles healthy & minimizes hot flashes.

    I used Pycnogenol to ensure my muscles and tendons were being supported as I used physical therapy to heal a torn rotator cuff. It worked for that, but I discovered another benefit of it was that my mid-life hot flashes mostly disappeared when I consistently took one a day and limited my caffeine intake. On one of my visits to my doctor, when he reviewed the supplements I take he stated that everyone over 50 should take this because their muscles will stay 30% healthier/stronger than someone the same age that doesn't take Pycnogenol.
