Progonol Cream

I used to get (hormonal) migraines about every other month for the last few years so I decided to switch my hormonal birth control pills to non-hormonal, which initially helped but my migraines came back. So, my naturopath told me to use this and for the last 6-8 months of using it, I have had ZERO migraines!! I'm so happy I found this product and will probably never stop, but I really hate migraines.

I don't use the product anymore as I'm in my 5th year of menopause and haven't had the need to continue. However, I used this product for 5 years on recommendation of my naturopath physician. I'd been diagnosed with endometriosis and fibroids at the age of 47 and had heavy painful periods for at least 10 years. My regular physician had recommended a hysterectomy ($$$ for him!) but I felt that it was an unnecessary procedure given my age--it was almost a moot point as with age, estrogen and progesterone levels decline to the point where your menstruation ends and no more fibroids! (NOTE: it is important to be regularly monitored by your physician to make sure the symptoms aren't indicative of something more serious). Within 3 months of using the product twice a day, I was taking 8 Motrin a day on the first day of my period vs. 24-30 tabs a day due to pain and bleeding. Within 6 months I was taking 1-2 Motrin on the first day only and then my periods became shorter. Within about three years of using the product, my periods began occurring less regularly until finally five years later, they stopped at the age of 52. I am thankful to my naturopathic physician for providing a safe alternative and definitely recommend this product for women with similar issues of fibroids and endometriosis although age is also a factor and younger women may still want to consult with a naturopath/homeopath or ""liberal"" Western physician.
