TMG 500 mg w/Folate & Methyl B-12 is a hypoallergenic TMG supplement providing 500 mg trimethylglycine in a single plant-cellulose capsule plus 100 percent daily value of both folinic acid and vitamin B-12 for optimal TMG assimilation.
TMG, dimethylglycine with one more methyl group, is considered a methyl donor or methyl bank like DMG but may be a more active methyl donor due to its additional methyl group. TMG can support formation of methionine by methylating homocysteine. Some of this methionine is converted into SAMe (S-adenosylmethionine), which may help support normal serotonin levels for a balanced mood.
Sufficient amounts of folate are required for TMG to work properly in the body; that's why this TMG supplement includes 100 percent of your daily value of this important B vitamin in its most bioavailable form, folinic acid. And for additional support, and because low levels of vitamin B-12 may be masked by folic acid intake, each capsule also contains 100 percent of your daily value of B-12 in the bioavailable form methylcobalamin.
