*Potassium activates many enzymatic reactions and is essential to a number of physiologic processes, including transmission of nerve impulses; contraction of cardiac, smooth, and skeletal muscles; gastric secretion; renal function; tissue synthesis; and carbohydrate metabolism. Potassium is the major cation of intracellular fluid and is essential for maintenance of acid-alkaline balance, isotonicity, and electrodynamic characteristics of the cell. In addition, it works with sodium to regulate water balance, heart rhythm, and normal nerve and muscle function.

Potassium is an essential mineral that offers a wide range of nutritional support to ensure proper physiological functioning of diverse organ systems.

Suggested Usage

1 capsule, 1-2 times daily, with meals.

    Pure Encapsulation Supplements are the Best!!

    When you don't like Bananas....

    I don't know how to review this because I don't know the difference when I don't take it. I just read about potassium and feel it would be in my best interest to take it. This seems like a fine product and I've had no ill affects from it so I'll probably just keep taking it. I'm pretty sure I'm not getting enough potassium from my diet so a supplement seems to be the easiest way

    Take only when potassium is too low just from food.

    I am low in the amount of potassium from food. There is a limit to how much you should take of potassium in pill form. This recommends 3 a day, but I take 4. Still a little low, but it's closer.

    Necessary supliment.

    If you are taking water pills you can't get enough potassium from foods so you will need to supplement. You have to do a trial run to see what is enough for you. If you are having cramps in your legs you need more. I found it also helps with swelling of the ankles.
