Sweet wormwood (Artemisia annua) contains a potent compound called artemisinin, which is commonly credited with its strong anti-parasitic properties. Artemisinin extracts are frequently used as a first line therapy for malaria infections. Added to this is a host of traditional ingredients for supporting the GI during parasite cleansing.
