Glucosamine demonstrates significant joint support. Methyl sulfonyl methane (MSM) also helps support joint integrity and mobility. Bromelain promotes healing after trauma.
Thorne's Meriva® ingredient – curcumin bound to phospholipids – and boswellia both exert an antioxidant effect and help maintain a healthy cytokine balance (for a normal inflammatory response) in the joints and muscles. Joint Support Nutrients combine all of these ingredients in a single comprehensive joint support supplement.
Methyl sulfonyl methane (MSM) – also known as dimethyl sulfone and methyl sulfone – is an organic, sulfur-containing compound that occurs naturally in a variety of plants and provides additional joint support.
Curcumin, the principal polyphenol in the Asian spice turmeric, exerts an antioxidant effect. Curcumin phytosome (Meriva®), a compound that contains curcumin and phosphatidylcholine, has significantly better absorption than ordinary curcumin and helps maintain a healthy cytokine balance throughout the body.
Boswellia appears to inhibit the activity of the lipoxygenase enzymes, thus promoting a healthy cytokine balance throughout the body.
Suggested Usage
Take 4 capsules one to two times daily or as recommended by your health professional.
Once daily to maintain joint strength and mobility.
Twice daily for occasional joint stiffness or soreness.

- Indian Frankincense extract (gum) (Boswellia serrata) 350 mg
- Curcumin Phytosome 250 mg
- - (Curcuma longa extract (root) / Phospholipid complex from Sunflower)
- Bromelain 200 mg
Other Ingredients: Hypromellose (derived from cellulose) capsule, Leucine, Silicon Dioxide.
Contains ingredients derived from shellfish (glucosamine sulfate = crab and/or shrimp).

Curcumin has been shown to reduce the therapeutic efficacy of cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan) in animal studies. In vitro research revealed that curcumin decreased camptothecin-induced death of cultured breast cancer cells. Curcumin might also interfere with the absorption and efficacy of the chemotherapy drug irinotecan, used to treat colon cancer. The concurrent use of curcumin with these agents should be avoided.
