  • Supports healthy amino acid and fatty acid metabolism
  • Sustains healthy detoxification pathways
  • Maintains healthy energy levels
  • Meets or exceeds cGMP quality standards
  • Suitable for vegetarians and vegans

Adenosylcobalamin, one of the "coenzyme" forms of vitamin B12, is known as the mitochondrial form as it is the most prevalent form in cellular tissues. While not itself a "coenzyme" form, hydroxocobalamin easily converts to one (methylcobalamin) and may also have the unique benefit of helping to support healthy cellular detoxification. These features make this combination a great option for individuals who are looking for a non-methylated alternative to the more common cyanocobalamin form of B12. Unlike cyanocobalamin, which consists of cobalamin (B12) attached to a cyanide molecule, neither form of B12 used in Hydrox-Adeno B12 contains any potentially harmful compounds that require additional processing for safe removal from the body.

Vitamin B12 is required for proper red blood cell formation, neurological function, and DNA synthesis. Vitamin B12 functions as a cofactor for methionine synthase and L-methylmalonyl-CoA mutase. Methionine synthase catalyzes the conversion of homocysteine to methionine. Methionine is required for the formation of SAMe (S-adenosylmethionine), an important methyl donor.

Suggested Usage

Adults: Initial use for the first week, take ½ a lozenge by mouth, let dissolve slowly, then swallow. If needing more support, increase to 1 full lozenge. Take as needed. Do not take within 5 hours of bedtime as it may interfere with sleep. Use as directed by your healthcare professional.
