Once the Essiac® extract has been made they use a process to reduce any alcohol or water it may have. The capsules are filled with the dry powder that is left after the liquid has been removed. The capsules are standardized.
- BURDOCK ROOT (Arctium lappa)
- Used traditionally to help maintain a healthy gastrointestinal tract, helps support a healthy immune response.
- SLIPPERY ELM inner bark (Ulmus Fulva)
- The tannings and muciliages in Slippery Elm inner bark are believed to facilitate the healthy elimination of mucus in the body.
- SHEEP SORREL (Rumex Acetosella)
- Used in traditional folk herbalism to help cool the body, this herbs helps support normal waste elimination in kidneys.
- INDIAN RHUBARB ROOT (Rheum Officinale)
- Used traditionally in small amounts, this herb helps support normal waste elimination in the liver.
Suggested Usage
Adults: take 2 capsules twice daily for daily use. Take 3 capsules three times daily for other health situations, one hour before of after meals. For prolonged use, consult a health care practitioner.
