Methyl folate [(6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate or (6S)-5-MTHF] is the most biologically active form of folate. Quatrefolic® is the 4th generation development in folate delivery. Methylcobalamin is better absorbed, retained and utilized than other forms of B12. Methylcobalamin and niacin support brain and nerve tissue. Pantethine is a derivative of vitamin B5 and is a precursor to Coenzyme A (CoA), which is involved in oxidative metabolism. Pyridoxal 5-Phosphate (P-5-P) is the coenzyme form of vitamin B6 and is necessary for the metabolism of proteins and amino acids.

This product contains vitamin B3 (niacin), which may cause a “niacin flush,” especially when taken on an empty stomach. Symptoms are transient – typically lasting for approximately one-half hour – and may include burning, tingling, and itching sensations along with reddening of the skin. In some cases, dizziness and/or shortness of breath may occur. If a severe reaction occurs, drink plenty of water and discontinue use.
