For Garden of Life to launch an animal protein, the entire system had to be different from other “so-called grass fed” protein. They needed a holistic approach that started at the farm and traced every metric straight through to the tub.
Although many whey protein products may call themselves “grass fed,” Garden of Life's research showed this wasn’t truly the case. Almost all dairy farms still used animal feed full of soy, corn and GMOs. Why? Typically, there are too many cows to feed year-round on grass. Our search ultimately ended in Ireland with a coop of 4,800 generational family farmers whose herds feed only in green pastures.

Clean Machine!

My families go-to protein powder is generally Garden of Live's vegan protein, which is fantastic. However, I wanted to get a little variety in in our diet so I opted to add this to our regime and was so surprised with how much we enjoy it. We've been on a long hunt to find the cleanest proteins and this is by far the most pleasant, clean whey protein we've had; it is now part of our regular auto-ship order :).
The best thing about it is the traceable, high quality whey sourcing that Garden of Live does! One thing to note is that if you put it in a blender it foams a lot, so I recommend adding it in small quantities toward the end of your blending.
