Beta-Carotene is derived from carrots and is a natural, non-toxic precursor to vitamin A. The body produces the amount it needs of Vitamin A from Beta-Carotene without over-dose or excess build-up (toxicity). The introduction of selenium in the production of CAROTAVIT™ at the appropriate stage during the manufacturing process has been shown to greatly increases anti-oxidant activity.
Beta-Carotene aids in the growth and repair of body tissues and helps maintain smooth, soft skin. It helps protect the mucous membranes of the mouth, nose, throat and lungs.
