- Berberine, an isoquinoline found in plants such as barberry and goldenseal, shows good antimicrobial activity against microorganisms such as E. coli and Candida albicans
- Wormwood has traditionally been used to help remove parasites from the gastrointestinal tract
- The active concentrate of freezedried garlic used is rich in alliin and alliinase, which releases high levels of allicin directly in the gut when ingested and rehydrated
- Allicin has a remarkable broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity against a range of problematic bacteria, fungi (including Candida albicans) viruses and protozoa
- Recommended for use in cases of gastrointestinal tract dysbiosis, where the maximum level of broad-spectrum effect is required
Suggested Usage
Take one capsule two times daily with meals or as professionally directed.

- Freeze-dried garlic (Allium sativum) clove 100 mg
- Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis) root std. extract (5% alkaloids) 50 mg
- Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) leaf/flowering tops oil 16.7 mg
Other Ingredients: Hypromellose, silica, vegetable magnesium stearate
Provides 20,000 ppm (2 mg) thiosulfinates and 9,000 ppm (0.9 mg) allicin.
Warnings
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use.
If you have blood pressure problems; if you have diabetes or a kidney disorder or if you are taking blood thinners or protease inhibitors, consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use.
Hypersensitivity to garlic has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use.
Consumption of goldenseal with alcohol, other medications and/or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended.
