EMIQ or Enzymatically Modified Isoquercitrin is prepared by using a natural enzyme process that attaches polysaccharides to convert quercetin, which has poor bioavailability, into a soluble form (Alpha-Glycosyl Isoquercitrin). EMIQ provides the benefits of quercetin with high absorption and superior bioavailability. According to pharmacokinetic data, the absorption of EMIQ is up to 40 times greater (Cmax) and 15 times greater (AUC) than that of quercetin and reaches peak levels in the bloodstream in just 15 minutes.

Good form of quercetin

I have seasonal allergies, and I read that quercetin helps. I like this form of quercetin (EMIQ), but I have also tried the LipoMicel Matrix form of quercetin by the same brand. I have shorter duration of my allergy attacks after using either form of quercetin by Natural Factors, but the EMIQ fits my budget better. The EMIQ is a lower dose than the LipoMicel Matrix, and both claim to be a form with high absorption, but for my purposes, I didn't think I needed the higher dose in the LipoMicel Matrix and to pay more. The EMIQ also includes some Vitamin C.
