Zinc plays an important role in supporting the body’s defense system by promoting healthy neutrophil and T-lymphocyte function.
Zinc plays a fundamental role in collagen formation and healthy tissue development, including enzymes vital to tissue respiration. It is essential for normal fetal development, and contributes to healthy prostatic function, as well.
Suggested Usage
As a dietary supplement, take 1 capsule, 1-2 times daily, with a meal.
Ingredients
Serving size: 1 capsule
- Zinc (as zinc picolinate) 15 mg
Other ingredients: hypoallergenic plant fiber (cellulose), vegetarian capsule (cellulose, water).
Non-GMO. Gluten free.

My husband and I both take one capsule at bedtime as an added benefit for good sleep. I like Pure Encapsulations products because they do not contain magnesium stearate or stearic acid in their ""other ingredients"".

I began taking this Zinc supplement about a year ago after reading it can help with moderate acne. I have found that with prolonged use, this is true for me. I have seen a dramatic reduction in cystic pimples. I take only one capsule a day, with food as I have noticed it can make me nauseous if taken without food. Other than that, no side effects. I have also read that zinc can help the body's immune system, which is very important right now during the COVID-19 situation. I highly recommend this product!
