Stevia from Nutramedix is an herbal supplement that contains liquid stevia leaf extract, which yields 300 times the sweetness of sugar and may help natural glucose levels already within the normal range. This formula can be used as a substitute in baking, can be added to teas, or other drinks.
Stevia is believed to have first been utilized by civilization in South America at least 1,500 years ago. The plant was first used in drink and medicine, but not until the early 1900's did early chemists first isolate the glycosides that are responsible for its sweet taste. Glycoside is not sugar, but triggers the taste receptors on the tongue. The body does not digest or use these compounds for energy, but instead passes them from the body during urination.

Suggested Usage
