NuMedica has added a full complement of vitamins and minerals, supplying at least 30% of the recommended daily value per serving in addition to all the naturally occurring nutrients found in the greens and superfoods blend. We have chosen the highest quality, active forms of, or "body-ready", B-vitamins, methylcobalamin and pyridoxal-5'-phosphate instead of using inferior forms which are harder for the body to utilize. Additionally, we have added premium ingredients such as AlgaeCal and BrocColinate. AlgaeCal is a superior, certified organic, plant-derived wholefood complex supplying natural calcium and minerals and BrocColinate is an extract from broccoli sprouts that has been heavily studied for its ability to aid Phase II detoxification and provide powerful antioxidant properties. Power Greens Premium contains a full spectrum, advanced adaptogenic herb blend designed to support the body's stress response and adrenal function. DDS-1 dairy-free probiotics are included since they are among the best available for maintaining healthy intestinal flora and GI function. The 5-MTHF in this formula, Quatrefolic- is the most biologically active form of folate, allowing rapid uptake into the bloodstream. The 5-MTHF in this formula is also known as the "L" form of 5-MTHF since it is the reduced form of folate. Suggested Usage
