Bifidobacteria (B.lactis, B.breve, B.longum, B.bifidum) are located in the colon and produce lactic and acetic acids, making the gut a very inhospitable place for unwanted materials. Bifidobacteria have been shown to promote regularity, even while traveling abroad.
Streptococcus thermophilus is also a lactic acid producer which lines the gut wall to provide a barrier from unwanted materials, promotes regularity and produces the lactase enzyme.
Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) are considered a soluble fiber and pre-biotic, which supports the growth of beneficial microorganisms in the intestinal tract.* FOS, as a fiber, increases the bulk in the gut to promote regularity.
Suggested Usage
As a dietary supplement, follow the recommendations below or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
Initial: Take amount below twice daily, after breakfast and after dinner.

- Senior: 3 Capsules
Maintenance: Take the above amount once daily after breakfast.

I take Mega Probiotic ND to support my gut health. It says there's 15 billion CFU, and 8 species of microorganisms from non-dairy sources. I believe this is a very good value, since I don't eat a lot of cultured foods containing probiotics.

I've been using this product for several years, 1 with breakfast and dinner. I also take psyllium husk and those two products together have 99% solved my constipation issues. Used to get it from my chiropractor's office, but they don't keep it in stock anymore and whenever they order for me, takes forever to get. So glad I can order direct from you and have auto-shipped. I use this product daily. My chiropractor suggested this to combat diverticulitis. Everything was good for year until my chiro retired. I tried to replace with drug store name brand probiotic. Bad idea, I was about to have a reoccurrence, which I never had with this product and my wife found this available on line. I got this product in the nick of time and cleared up the issue. I highly recommend.
