I bought this Liposomal Vitamin C a few times now. except for the sour taste, if accidentally chewed, it is a great choice. Well recommended.

Using high dose and getting results

by nkeeney@therenewco.com

Liposomal vitamin C is the next level in comparison to old school ascorbates(any of them, ascorbic acid, sodium ascorbate) because the stomach destroys a percentage of the ascorbates. Liposomal vit C on the other hand allows the molecule to pass through the stomach and be readily digested in the small intestine.

This is where the story gets interesting because of Linus Pauling's work. He took 10grams of ascorbic acid a day with lysine and lived into his 90's. Liposomal vitamin c has allowed the liver spots on my mothers skin to fade away in 2 months at 3 grams a day. She takes 2 pills at each meal and 3 before going to bed each night.

For me, I've been taking 8 grams daily of liposomal vitamin c spaced throughout the day in order to save money from doing high dose vitamin C once a week every month. I have noticed big changes in my body over the last two months as my health has improved post chemotherapy. I wish medical insurance covered high dose IV vitamin C, however liposomal version is the next best option. The gel I have been making on my own allows it to be even more affordable at high doses.

Come in Amazon! Give me a break!

by nkeeney@therenewco.com

I have been ordering and using this product for many months and like them. I recently received three bottles with expiration date of 3/2023. I Received them on 1/11/21. Last night, 2/11, I opened one bottle from this shipment. The inner seal, that is normally tight and requires a blade to open popped open easily. What I saw was a large clump of these capsules stuck together and impossible to separate. Today I tried to return this unusable mass thru Amazon but was told I am
One day by past the date to return a product.
I buy many hundreds of dollars of nutritional products thru Amazon regularly. This is the first time I have encountered a problem with a return. I try to order in bulk as much as possible. I think this problem is one of manufacturing and I should be able to return the faulty product. I am not happy!

The Best On the Market

by nkeeney@therenewco.com

When making a decision about supplements, I attempt to research them and weigh the over all benefits of taking them. Afterwards, I use the same method for choosing a brand. Factors like price and quality are important in making a final decision. First I learned about the importance of vitamin C, which I no doubt get a sufficient daily amount in my diet. However I wanted and needed therapeutic amounts of vitamin C to possibly provide a degree of protection from the stress, and environmental assault we deal with every day in this polluted world. I found out through the National Institute of Health (NIH), that ascorbic acid is the form of vitamin C that the body recognizes and uses, and it really doesn't matter whether the source is natural or not. Also, the body's system becomes saturated with ascorbic acid at about 1100 mg per day, taking any amount over that is excreted from the body in our urine. I finally concluded that genuine liposomal C was my best option. First of all, it had to contain ascorbic acid, and packets and bottles would not be convenient for me, I needed it to be in capsule form. I wanted no alcohol. And most importantly, it had to be reasonably priced for long term usage. To my surprise Core Med Science Optimized Liposomal Vitamin C met all my requirements!

Best quality liposomal C; & the C is made in scotland, best C there is.

by nkeeney@therenewco.com

Take it before eating for best absorption. Liposomal C is waay more absorbable than regular C. And the C raw ingredient used is NOT made in china; it is scotland-made. It is the best C available. Most commercial vit C is made using chinese C powder. China is known for impure products with contaminants like lead.
This product's liposomal encapsulation and gelcaps are non toxic also, afaik. The absorbability and purity of C is very important for fighting illness, maintaining immune support, etc.
I feel great after taking this... wakes me up and clears my head in the morning. (If you are going to drink coffee, take it AFTER so the coffee doesnt flush out the C before your bidy can utilize it!).
Also, we find it is more effective than other Vit C caps, when fending off a cold by taking extra doses of C. Its good before and after travel too, to boost immune.

I got no compensation or product or discount for this review... I am writing it out of enthusiasm because I find its results are markedly better than other C's. The cost is reasonable. I have lyme and clean nutrition plus quality supplements as directed by my docs are help me keep fighting. I found this product on my own, and my docs approve.

good insurance

by nkeeney@therenewco.com

We have been regular vitamin C users, typically buffered powder added to juice, since I saw Linus Pauling lecture back in the 1960s. His opinion was to use the least expensive ascorbic acid you could get and take about 3 grams a day, distributed over the day as smaller portions, since it is processed out quickly and not stored in the body. Not sure of the benefits of this product over the foregoing routine or over lesser expensive time release versions of vitamin C from other suppliers.
Did get this on a friend's recommendation to boost our immune systems during the winter cold and flu season. Did not get sick after using this to supplement regular vitamin C, but that is not conclusive. Pretty pricey so we are off it for the summer. Took off a star for the high cost. Come on, the process to encapsulate the vitamin in soy lipids can't be all that expensive. Time will tell when we go back on it this fall, but given the virulence of the current crop of flu viruses, will be doing all we can to maximize our immune systems and limit our exposure.

Works like it's supposed to

by nkeeney@therenewco.com

I've been taking this supplement for 8 months. It's been working great. I wasn't taking any vitamin C prior. I did some research and Liposomal is the way to do it. I really like this one because it doesn't use soy. Over the 8 months I've been taking this I haven't been sick with a cold or cough or minor things that will usually affect me throughout the year. At the lowest point where I felt like I might be getting sick it only lasted a day.
My wife is also taking this however she hasn't been as consistent as me. She did get sick recently with fever, congestion, cough, sneezing, but it lasted less than a week. I'll know more or less later on once I actually do get sick. On average before taking this I'd get sick maybe 2 twice a year, so far I've been sick free these 8 months I've been taking this.

I usually take the dosage (3 pills) every morning with a glass of water. I'm recommending this stuff to friends as well. I will continue buying these. Would be nice if there was some kind of deal where I can buy several at a discount.

Best vitamin C that I have found!

by nkeeney@therenewco.com

I think it is by far the best vitamin C I have ever found. I take 7 doses per night to go with the 100 grams of vitamin C IV I get once a week as a part of my prostate cancer treatments. My doctor recommended liposomal vitamn C to augment the intravenous treatments. I hated the taste of the liquid liposomal vitamin C, so I was so glad to find this. It's very easy to swallow for me and it is working. I had MOHS surgery for skin cancer removal on top of my head in November and the surgeon said I healed faster than anybody he had ever seen.
My urologist put me on casodex for prostate cancer treatment and I believe the vitamin C augmented the treatment. My PSA dropped from 4.7 to 0.74 in three months. Vitamin C studies have been shown to be effective against many cancers and this seems to working for me. I had radiation treatments for the prostate cancer in 2012, but it appeared to start coming back. I am very thankful for this product

Will Buy Again

by nkeeney@therenewco.com

I previously was purchasing the "Liposomal" Vit C with Ascorbyl Palmitate, not knowing any better. I eventually started reading up about it and came across the Core Med Science website that explains what proper liposomal vitamin C and what's fake. I had no idea I was taking synthetic Vitamin C. Long story short, I went back to Amazon searching for a true liposomal vitamin C and I came across Core Med Sciences own brand, I didn't even realize they sold supplements after I read the article on their site. Once I made sure it was the same brand, I immediately purchased it and I am happy I did so. The value is roughly the same I was paying for the fake stuff, only I get three months instead of one...works for me! Will buy again!

Vitamin C that doesn't upset my stomach

by nkeeney@therenewco.com

I can't say for sure if this version of Vitamin C is really more "bio-available" as advertised, but I do know that these gel caps are the only ones I've tried that don't make me sick when taken on an empty stomach. I've tried different brands and I've tried the buffered ones, and they all make me nauseated - except this one. I'm prone to upper respiratory infections, which often lead to bronchitis, pleurisy or worse - and I end up having to take antibiotics - and we all know the many nefarious side effects of those. Since I started taking high doses of Vitamin C (between 5,000 - 9,000 daily), I haven't gotten sick (nothing shore of miraculous), even with my young grandchildren (little petri dishes) coming around sniffling and coughing. I also have tinnitus, and these don't seem to exacerbate the ear ringing. Unlike antibiotics, I have had no ill effects of taking high doses of Vitamin C. I do take buffered Vitamin C when I've eaten, because these are pricey to take exclusively at such high doses.

All the capsules were stuck together in a big wad. Had to separate by hand then add corn starch to keep separated. Don't know how good they work yet. Have not used yet.

Good but large size

by nkeeney@therenewco.com

These seem to be good quality and came quickly. The only negative I can find is that the pills are huge. They are okay for me because of the coating but I prefer smaller pills so no chance of getting stuck. I got them for both myself and my 12 year old. They are too big for my teen. So I had to purchase something else smaller for him, a regular adult size pill . We don't want more powder so I had to go with another brand of pills. He prefers pills as do I over powder. But if size isn't an issue then I highly recommend.

will take this for the rest of my life!

by nkeeney@therenewco.com

I researched various liposomal vitamin C products and found this form to be the most effective. I tried capsules as well, but didn't care for having to take 3-4 horse sized caps at a time depending on the brand. This is very easy to take, I add about and oz of water to a dixie cup, add a packet of the product and drink it like a shot. I take it on an empty stomach, usually 30 mins prior to eating and have no GI issues. I have only been taking this for two weeks, but I feel more energized and mental clarity. Everyone at work has had a VERY nasty flu progressively over the last 10 days, terrible body aches, cough and fever, yet I continue to be healthy. We work in close quarters to one another, so I feel strongly that I haven't gotten sick because I normally take this twice daily, but during this flu outbreak I have added a midday dose. Highly recommend this for everyone!

Large long gelcaps, not round, but easy to swallow

by nkeeney@therenewco.com

I was surprised and disappointed at first to discover that the gelcaps are about 1 inch long, not round as in the image on the bottle, which I then realized is simply the company logo. Nonetheless, the gelcaps are easy to swallow. They have no flavor or odor. I haven't taken them consistently yet, as I had a supply of capsules I was finishing up first, but they seem to be absorbing fine. A bit of coloring passes through into the urine. probably from the yellow beeswax and/or caramel listed in the ingredients.

Seems real

by nkeeney@therenewco.com

Unlike the products offered by several ethically-challenged competitors who are selling regular vitamin C as liposomal C (looking at you Dr M.), this product is to all appearances real. The capsules contain liquid which resembles other real liposomal C brands I have tried, and the capsule size only claims to have 1/3 of a gram in each capsule, which is much more believable than competitors who claim to have fit liposomal C into a capsule thats the same size as regular vitamin C. The liquid inside the capsule does taste of vitamin C tartness, which makes me think the product is not as well encapsulated as the Livon product, which just tastes like lecithin and isn't tart.

In summary: a legitimate attempt to make a liposomal C capsule. Probably not as high quality as Livons, but not a fake like the other charlatans selling capsules on Amazon.

Best vitamin C

by nkeeney@therenewco.com

I have been using Core Med Science Liposomal Vitamin C softgels for about 2 years and I love the product. I have an autoimmune condition and my doctor recommended that I take a good quality vitamin C. After some research I found this company and this product and have been impressed with the quality of the vitamins and I like the source they use to ensure good quality. I have ordered both through their Amazon account and directly from the company and found both avenues to be quick delivery and their customer service is great. I now buy the larger bottles so I don't have to order every month. I am getting ready to buy a small bottle for my daughter in college to help her keep her immune system up while she's there. Great product!

Liposomal Vitamin C is best form of C

by nkeeney@therenewco.com

VItamin C is important. Everyone knows rhis. But why liposomal vitamin c? Liposomes use a phospholipid bilayer formed around water and, in this case, vitamin C. The outer casing protects the nutrient inside from damage that might otherwise occur during normal digestion.

AKA this makes it past stomach acid and into the blood stream.

This product is 1000mg, much higher than average doses. Not to worry though, vitamin C is water soluble, meaning what the body doesn't use it will pee out ;)

I take it three times a day and credit it as the source of a strong immune system that is carrying me through a pandemic. Haven't been sick since.

Liposomal Vitamin C offers better absorption.

by nkeeney@therenewco.com

I decided to switch to this product after reading about liposomal vitamin C on their website. Be careful. There are cheap knock-off products that claim to be liposomal but are not. They do a great job of explaining the difference at the Core Med website. Core Med uses Quali:registered:-C brand of Vitamin C, which comes from Scotland, not from China and that's important to me. I just started to take the recommended 3 gelcaps per day, so time will tell if I note any differences. But I understand that Vitamin C is good for everything from boosting immunity to improved skin and this appears to be a top-quality product.
