Fem-Dophilus® contains two patented and clinically documented probiotic strains, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, GR-1® and Lactobacillus reuteri, RC-14®, discovered and developed by Dr. Gregor Reig and Dr. Andrew Bruce at Urex Biotech. The oral use of GR-1® and RC-14® promotes healthy vaginal and urinary tract health.
A special manufacturing process protects the probiotic strains in Fem-Dophilus® from stomach acid and enhances probiotic bacterial survival to the lower refrigeration.
Suggested Usage
Take 1 capsule once a day. May be taken with or without food. If your healthcare professional recommends taking in conjunction with antibiotics, take at least 1-2 hours after taking the medication.
Does not require refrigeration.

Other Ingredients: maltodextrin, capsule (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, titanium dioxide [color]), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate (vegetable source).
NO wheat, gluten, soybeans, dairy, egg, fish/shellfish, peanuts/tree nuts or sesame. Non-GMO. Gluten-free. Vegan.

Additional Information
Fem-Dophilus® does not require refrigeration and can be stored at room temperature. Refrigeration will, however, extend shelf life. Avoid temperatures above 77®F (25®C).

Helpful for Crohn's patients

The NIH and other research centers have shown that those who had Crohn's disease lacked specific beneficial gut bacteria. The NIH study concluded that "Short-term consumption of yogurt supplemented with Lactobacillus strains GR-1 and RC-14 promoted the formation of a desirable anti-inflammatory environment in the peripheral blood of IBD patients, and showed no harmful effects in these patients." My research found that Fem-Dophilus contains both of these beneficial strains. I've been in total remission of my Crohns ever since I take one of these pills daily.

I bought for my college age daughter who suffered from bacterial vaginitis for years before a new ob/gyn researched and told us to find the specific strains in this product, the only product I found with the strains and quantity clearly labeled. It has helped tremendously. After reading reviews on Amazon for the product, I recommended it to my friend who has interstitial cystitis, and we usually place a combined order. It has helped her tremendously, and she no longer takes prescription meds for IC and has been able to relax dietary restrictions a great deal. My daughter requires two doses per day but my friend requires only one.

If you you are struggling to control bladder infections, you need this probiotic!!! Life Changing!!! Repeated antibiotic use is not the answer, at least not for me, I really believe it was just agrevating it!!

I hve been using this product for years and I am confident that it helps keep my vaginal flora in balance. I take it most days and if I ever feel any hint of a yeast infection or any other simile issue, I will also insert one vaginally before bed. These are very effective.

It sends me to the bathroom over 2 times a day. Everyone seems to put too many millions of the good bacteria. My system won't tolerate it. I would like to try half as much but can't find one. I wanted this to work for me.

This item works fairly well, but was told it would be sent with a cooling agent for shipment- it came in a little cardboard box, without any cooling agent. I ordered specifically from the company to get this option added and was told it would be. so, recommend product but not shipping method.

Legit probiotic for vaginal health

I have done thorough research on vaginal probiotics after a UTI sent me to the ER with extremely high BP, heart rate and fever. I am starting the transition to menopause and have had to educate myself on all of the fun things that can happen once estrogen plummets.
