Digestion Intensive Capsules by Seeking Health provide a broad spectrum of digestive enzymes derived from vegetarian sources to support optimal digestion and normal nutrient absorption.
This supplement contains a targeted blend of disaccharidase enzymes to that are needed for proper cleaving of sugars including lactose (milk sugar), maltose (from cereal grains), sucrose (table sugar), and amylopectin (starch) molecules into their absorbable monosaccharide forms. Insufficient disaccharidase production by the small intestine can cause carbohydrate malabsorption and discomfort. Incompletely digested sugars or starch can also be fermented by pathogenic organisms and may contribute to yeast overgrowth and dysbiosis.
