Algae Omega is a good product, but I think they should not contain sorbitol, not great on my intestines and drop the caramel color which I have seen reports on that it's not healthy & I don't see why it's needed.

This is a good price for a vegan omega-3 decently high in DHA. Most vegetarian omega-3 supplements have much lower amounts of DHA than fish sources and are more expensive

The thing I like BEST about this product is that they don't burp back fishy. I have tried all kinds of fish oil caps, regular and enteric, and they always burp back up on me, and hey, I like seafood, and have no allergies to it, but I cannot stand that horrible fish oil taste. These have no fish oil after effects. That is why I recommend this product.

The above is the description of the Algae Omega. I bought the Algae Omega because I do not want to take fish oil. The Algae Omega has all the EPA and DHA the same a fish oil, but it is a safe vegan substitute.

I began taking this product when my Ophthalmologist recommend that I take it for my dry eye condition. The usual recommendation was fish oil which I am unable to tolerate due to GERD. I have been taking Algae Omega 715 mg (2 capsules) per day since May and my eye doctor was very pleased with the results that he noted on my recent eye examination and my eyes have been much more comfortable. I also found that my dry mouth problem was doing better too. I am thrilled that it has not affected my GI concerns.
