Is This Diet Vegetarian-Friendly?
More and more restaurants are offering vegetarian options, sometimes marked as such on the menu, and many dishes can be made without meat. If you are not sure whether something is vegetarian it’s better to ask ahead of time. Be aware of “hidden” sources of meat such as chicken stock in soups or sauces, and gelatin in some desserts.
