D-Mannose, a naturally occurring simple sugar, sticks to the E. coli lectins even better than the lectins stick to human cells. When a large quantity of this sugar is present in the urine, it literally coats any E. coli present so they can no longer stick to urinary tract walls and are washed away with normal urination.
Suggested Usage
Four capsules three or four times daily. Then take four capsules twice daily for two or three more days.
May be taken with or between meals.

It is an effective alternative to antibiotics and doesn't destroy all of the good bacteria. I keep it on hand all of the time.

This is an excellent supplement for anyone suffering from UTIs. I had been put in antibiotics profilactively for two years due to recurring UTIs and 3 years ago I began taking d-mannose and have not had antibiotics ever since.

This product is an excellent product when combatting recurrent UTIs or interstitial cystitis. It is extremely effective. Possibly more so than antibiotic use and it has no negative side effects. It is extremely safe for anyone of any age. I've even given it to my 2 year old daughter for a possible uti instead of antibiotics. It ReALly does work. Note that if you have an actual infection I would recommend increasing the dosage for the first few days to really get rid of the bacteria. However if you are using it has a preventative measure the dosage recommended is fine.

I have had problems with UTI's for several years and have had to use antibiotics too often. Since trying U Tracts I have not had an infection. I have been using them about 3 months.
