Use PGX Daily Ultra Matrix Softgels as part of your diet to support healthy glucose and cholesterol functions that are already within the normal range.
PGX (PolyGlycopleX) is a highly viscous combination of water soluble polysaccharides derived from konjac root, sodium alginate, and xantham gum. Viscous fibers may help to diminsh postprandial glucose concentrations to assist with healty cholesterol function, primarily by forming a gel matrix which slows gastric emptying. Viscous fibers also trap ingested carbohydrates and lipids inside the gel matrix, decreasing the transport (as well as the uptake) helping to lower the glycemic index of your meals, contributing to healthy glucose metabolism.

A reduction in serum glucose concentrations by PGX may require a lowering of the dosage of any antidiabetic medications, and serum glucose should be monitored closely to avoid hypoglycemia. Oral medications may need to be taken one hour prior or two hours after PGX, to prohibit a reduction in their absorption. Similarly, fat-soluble vitamins should be taken separately.
