I'm using this to lower my choleterol - a registered dietician I know has been in studies and it worked. My brothers went from 230 to 164 - so I'm giving it a try, but it does take months to lower (and it's not like you can test it yourself to see if you've lowered your cholesterol in a month). So I'll go back for blood work in a few months to find out. Read yeast rice, higher fiber diet --

I've been taking this for a couple of years and as long as regular cardio exercise is part of my regime, it works. I brought my bad cholesterol down significantly and my doctor was impressed. However, when I don't get regular exercise it is not as effective.
