CalGuard provides well-absorbed vegetarian calcium from a citrate-malate source, balanced with magnesium and other bone-building nutrients. A generous amount of vitamin K is included, far more than in most other bone support products, and vitamin D is supplied in the preferred D3 form for maximum bioavailability. These nutrients, along with vitamin C and manganese, work together to support optimal bone density and help skeletal structures maintain their integrity during minor traumas.

Suggested use for adults: 2-4 capsules daily, taken with meals, or as directed.

Superb Product!
by Annalovely0ne
I use this product because of its many co-factors: The bone building co-factors included in CalGard are superb! Magnesium Oxide and Calcium Citrate are my choices instead of Magnesium Citrate and Calcium Carbonate, and are included in CalGuard's formulation! Thank you for this formulation! My search is over! Time to reorder!

Osteopenia number ""decreased""
by Annalovely0ne -
In August 2010, I was developing Osteopenia! A great source of Calcium Citrate was my choice, with Boron, Magnesium Oxide, Silicon, Vit D3, etc., in the formulation. August 2012? Voila! Osteopenia is headed in the right direction on the ""right"" side of the scale towards the 0 mark! Hallelujah! Who needs that ""dis-ease""! Learned years ago to ""sleep on it"" - Calcium, that is, so that it can take better effect.
