Bone-Up® provides ossein MicroCrystalline HydroxyApatite (MCHA) Complex (from free-range New Zealand calves), which includes the superior combination of the inorganic calcium lattice of MCHA within an organic protein milieu.
MCHA has been clinically demonstrated not to disproportionately spike calcium blood levels as do other forms of calcium such as carbonate and citrate. The MCHA is combined with vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 as MK-7 from natural fermentation to support the proper deposition of calcium and maintain the integrity of calcium as part of the bone matrix, thereby supporting cardiovascular and arterial health.
Suggested Usage
Take 1 capsule three times per day (for a total of 3) with meals to facilitate maximum absorption or as directed by your qualified healthcare consultant.

It works well, but I am concerned about the body's need to have magnesium that is easily absorbed into the joints and bones.

The doctor I worked for, over 25 years ago recommended the product to patients and I've taken it ever since. I've looked at other products. however, feel this offers the best combination for me. I do like the 3 a day formula, however, not sure the six per day may have been the best. .

The capsules are really big...so very glad they are in the 3 per day size both because I couldn't swallow anything larger and it allows spreading out the calcium intake over the day. It would be helpful to know if one can just pop the capsules open and drink the contents in a glass of water. So far one of the capsules is empty because of a big hole in one end.

I have been using this supplement for several years and had an improvement in my DEXA scan; moved back to normal from osteopenia after being on it for a year. I had been on other calcium before and had never seen an improvement. I love the fact that it has vitamin D, vitamin K among other vitamins in it as well. These aid in the effectiveness of the calcium absorption. It is the only calcium supplement I will ever take!

I have been taking this product for a decade ever since I severed a bone in my wrist and underwent surgery to install a compression bolt. When I don't take Bone Up my wrist aches, so I try to never run out.
